Australia & New Zealand – LiVac Sales & Distribution
After several years working with Teleflex, Livac Pty Ltd has made the decision to support its own products within Australia and NZ. We believe the LiVac Retractor needs a dedicated team and that we can drive stronger surgeon utility with our own people in our own market. The separation from Teleflex will come into effect on 31st December 2021, with Livac taking control of all AU accounts and business development from 1st January 2022. Livac is excited to take back sales control its home territory.
USA, Missouri and Illinois – LiVac Appoints a New Distributor
Livac USA, Inc. appointed RumbleMed on 17th December 2021 as a distributor for the LiVac Retractor in Missouri and Illinois. RumbleMed completed training via zoom prior to supporting clinical evaluations of the LiVac Retractor with a high throughput bariatric surgeon earlier this month. Surgeon support for the device is strong and applications for hospital approvals are pending.
USA – New York, Clinical Evaluations
Livac USA, Inc. and Livac Pty Ltd (“Livac”) has been working with a US commercial advisor to introduce the LiVac Retractor to surgeons in the New York. Over the past 3 months the LiVac Retractor has been clinically evaluated by surgeons at Mt Sinai and Montefiore hospitals. Livac conducted surgeon training via zoom and the majority of LiVac cases have been successful with favourable surgeon feedback. Livac is exploring the opportunity to progress commercial sales in this territory.
