Livac Shareholder Update

First use in robotic bariatric procedure

The first use of the LiVac™ Retractor in a robotic bariatric procedure was recently conducted in Melbourne. The LiVac™ Retractor was used for the first time with a da Vinci® robot and retracted the liver throughout the duration of the Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy case. The surgeon involved went on to apply for the LiVac™ to be listed and commercially available at his hospital.

EtO Sterilisation

Livac completed its transition to EtO sterilisation with an FDA registered facility in February 2019. This is a significant milestone for the company as we work to further develop our US market entry strategy.

Stage II ISO 13485 Audit

Stage II ISO 13485 Audit was completed in January 2019 and the draft BSI certificate for this milestone has been issued and approved by Livac. All ISO13485:2016 certification requirements have been met by Livac and will allow the company to increase its management responsibility for its quality system associated with the design and distribution of its devices.
